Day 8 Inspiration

Feeling uninspired and exhausted I found my seat on the plane. Trying to push out the feelings of needing a shower bad after this 24 hour day of traveling,I buckled my seatbelt and looked out the window. My thoughts began to wander towards home and all that was waiting for me there. Worries began to creep in and so I began to talk to Jesus about the overwhelmingness of it all. The plane lifted off the ground and beautiful views hung before my eyes. I felt inspired and began instead to thank Him for all the blessings and the beauty. Then quietly, mixed in with the dull roar of the engine, He whispered these words to me, “My help, it will keep flowing like that river that curves long down there; My love, it’s deeper than that sparking blue ocean and higher than those airy clouds; My presence, it’s more solid than rock; It’s like those mountains that cannot move. I am strong. I am sure. I am able and I am in love with you. So don’t be afraid. I am with you. You have everything you need right now and will have what you need when you get home, and forever; because you have Me, forever. I belong to you and you belong to Me, forever.” Breathing out relief, I sank back into my chair and gave into rest, letting Him carry me home.
