A Thought
I was changing the sheets the other day and got to thinking. Sometimes finding our way is a bit like putting the case on a pillow. You must poke around and find a few dead ends until you reachs the corner and things fit. You must bump into the seams to know which way to turn. I often feel discouraged by life’s bumps, full stops and dead ends and sometimes they lead me to despair. But God is showing me these hard places are more directives than character evaluations. They are more about pointing the way, then giving me the message that I am a failure. So let us take heart, just like putting a case on the pillow we will eventually find our way to wear things fit, not in spite of the bumps but because of them.
2 Corinthians 4:8
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. “
