Sacred Space
Sacred Space
By Susie Teramura
Open me
Slow,
To the beauty
Of You.
Let light brush the cracks
Dusting them through
With specks
Of gold.
Coating them in grace,
You turn my face
And I behold You
Beholding me.
I stay…
In this scared space
Until my heart becomes new,
Until the old
No longer has a hold
And I am free to be
The one You see
In me.
1 Corinthians 13:12 (NIV)
“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
