When it’s dark
And I can’t see
It’s Your voice that,
comforts me.

It reminds me
That You are here,
That I am safe.
And You are near.

Your voice,
Soft and clear,
Invites me to take up courage
And to give up fear.

It sings a
Melody over me
And wraps
My hurts up tenderly.

Your voice,
My solace and my friend,
A deep, kind comfort
Without end.
