Hi, I’m Susie…
I am so happy to meet you and count it a great privilege to have you here !
Please know you are always welcome, no matter what. We each have a story to share and a place at the table. I am learning that the messy and broken parts of me become the most beautiful in the hands of my Savior. Instead of wishing them away, He is teaching me that it’s ok to invite them near, as they are where I am most real and where Jesus shines brightest.
Here is a little about me. To begin with, I love Jesus. He has become my dearest friend and safest place. I am happily married to my other best friend and high school sweetheart.
I am blessed to be mom to five amazing children. The oldest two are married. One is in college and one in middle school. Our littlest one is at home with Jesus, and we anxiously await a joyful reunion with him there. I homeschooled our children since the beginning and I would not trade those happy years for anything.
I love reading books, writing poems, and making art. I also have the privilege of teaching art to children in our home each week. I absolutely love creating with these amazing artists and sharing God’s love with them in this way.
