Oil Pastel Vegetables

I drew these for Carla Sonheim’s class, Y is for Yellow. We were on the letter “V” and were assigned to draw vegetables with oil pastel. I enjoyed doing these as I think vegetables are so beautiful and often take pictures of them at the grocery store! I am working on a few more too. Oil pastel is very messy though which makes them challenging to work with for me!

  1. Susie,
Another pack of potential notecards?! 🙂 Love these veggies — a perfect gift for a cook or a culinary wanna-be! Do you gift your art to your family and friends at birthdays and holidays? I think maybe someday you could stage a vintage show (you should check in with Heather at Recollected Design – -she lives in Virginia too!) and sell these beautiful pieces! xo

    1. Hi Valerie- I was thinking about making a collection of veggie cards! :)( how did you know?) I sometimes give my art to friends and family and I LOVE the idea of being apart of a vintage show 🙂 Thats such a great idea. Thanks! I wonder where she lives? I would love to someday sell and bless others my art like that 🙂 Thanks again for the encouragement and kindness! xoxox 🙂
