Vegetables- Spring Onions

spring onion

I wanted to share an idea that I have been doing in my journals. I have been sectioning the pages off by drawing lines to make various sized boxes. In the boxes I write my thoughts and prayers as well as bible verses and quotes that I come across in my readings that are special to me.  Long rectangles become lists of things I love or am thankful for etc. I have also added some sketching. I had trouble thinking of what to sketch at first so I decided to draw different vegetables. It is a challenge in that I can’t spend too long on them since I journal in the morning and don’t have the time then to be too detailed. I have really enjoyed drawing these, and thinking about growing and the good things that come out of it.

  1. I love the onions!! — also like your ideas about drawing the boxes in your journal — a good idea of way to separate different categories of thoughts — I might try it

    1. I am glad you like them and I’m happy for you to use them for practice or however you would like! Please do!! Drawing vegetables has been really fun to me for some reason- They are quite beautiful if you really stop and look at them- 🙂 They are pretty basic shapes too- and amazing colors -You can do it!- without a doubt!! I am excited for you and all that God has for you-so wonderful and I hope we get to see what you come up with if you feel like sharing 🙂 xoxo

  2. I love how our heavenly Father has uniquely created each of us, and relates to us in many beautiful ways! Thank you for sharing this idea. I love it!
    Blessings sweet friend,
